10 GOLDEN RULES OF REAL ESTATE
Think of the following as golden nuggets of wisdom! These are time
tested critical unwritten rules that you must have faith in.
RULE #1 If your house is overpriced, it will not sell.
RULE #2 If your house is overpriced, you will get little, if any activity.
RULE #3 Buyers will not make offers until they see the price
is reasonable.
RULE #4 Most buyers are not master negotiators. They usually will
not make low bids.
RULE #5 We cannot read your mind. If something is wrong,
you must call us!
RULE #6 Everybody wants what everybody else wants and nobody
wants what nobody else wants.
RULE #7 Most sellers gamble that a better buyer is out there
and most lose.
RULE #8 Every transaction has it’s own unique problem or complication.
RULE #9 Life is not fair. Neither is real estate. Don’t expect fairness.
RULE #10 The market always gives clues in the form of number of
showings, sign calls, open house traffic, offers. You must
not, and you cannot, ignore the market. You must listen
to the market to maximize your net.
